Dr. Dongsu Kim is a general dentist committed to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered dental care with a focus on clinical excellence, clear communication, and long-term oral health outcomes. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry after completing his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at Dalhousie University in Canada. Dr. Kim completed a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, where he received advanced training in restorative dentistry, surgical extractions, endodontics, emergency dentistry, and the management of medically complex patients. This experience allowed him to develop strong diagnostic skills and confidence in treating a wide range of dental conditions. With a strong interest in implant dentistry, Dr. Kim has completed the AAID MaxiCourse in Implant Dentistry, a comprehensive 300-hour continuum covering all phases of implant treatment, including diagnosis, surgical placement, and prosthetic restoration. He remains dedicated to continuing education and staying current with evidence-based techniques and modern dental technologies. Dr. Kim values patient education and shared decision-making, taking the time to ensure that patients fully understand their treatment options and feel comfortable throughout their care. He strives to provide high-quality dentistry in a welcoming and supportive environment. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim enjoys traveling, exploring different cultures, scuba diving, swimming, and hiking.
